From Michigan My biggest problem with my sex ed was that by the end I STILL DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO HAVE SEX. I knew all about STDs though.

In any case, it would be a bit silly to have a word that grouped I like men and women only with I like men and genderqueers only and i like women and genderqueers only all together. But the important thing is that THIS IS NOT HOW MOST REAL PEOPLE WHO IDENTIFY THAT WAY USE THE WORD. The majority of people who call themselves bisexual mean the same thing that the majority of people who call themselves pansexual do. Therefore, bisexual and pansexual are synonyms.

If she didn't do it, or if she was straight, or it wasn't a boy, or it wasn't to please their audience I'd be ok with it.

Sure, body language is nice and stuff. But that should come later. I find communicating with body language (conciously is something more intimate.В

Really interesting! Reminds me of my Nana (born 1945 telling me about how she got her period at boarding school (run by Catholic nuns). He mother hadn't told her anything about periods or anything related to puberty at all really. The nuns were shocked! I just think it's so strange when people don't share information and help each other understand their own bodies.

I'm from Minnesota, and I graduated in 2018, so this may not be accurate anymore, but we spent several weeks talking about sex ed. We talked about contraception, and STIs, and relationships, even (in a split second, they exist kind of way intersex people. But we didn't talk about LGBT aside from being taught that same sex couples can get STIs too. The teacher also compared virginity to a water bottle, so there's that.

I wish my parents had talked to me about sex but unfortunately I'm 16 now and they've never even mentioned it. Because of their lack of openness I've had to learn and deal with things by myself.

I really like the faster pace of this video. I find them easier to follow (I guess because I am used to fast talking). While I agree that you should not brush off questions as jokes, it DID lighten the mood. A light mood is important to have for a (potentially embarrassing topic. Some things are better left to other videos. I am sure other viewers are looking for more clarification on certain other topics like the forward model and what to look for in a good dildo.

Really surprised by the intense negative backlash to kink being included in the acronym. I felt weird about it for a second, but then I realised that minimizing someone's kink as some weird shit that person like to do feels very similar to the stigma some have about me being attracted to men. Of course the historical context is different, but the acronym's change reflects change in society and where we stand today. That's what it's supposed to do!

I never said anything of the sort, but since you keep harping on this, I'm going to point out that comparing the ~struggle of atheists with the queer movement is actually really fucking offensive, and I say that as an agnostic atheist myself. Straight atheists can get married. Atheists aren't still victims of hate crimes. Atheists aren't and weren't considered child abusers across the board. Atheism wasn't a criminal offense as fucking recent as 2003. Atheists can get the fuck over themselves.
